I am Professor Hubert von Hanebüch – scientist, philosopher and space traveller.
The story of my life is as long as my space milage and it would take many glasses of my (very small) emergency stock of special brew to tell just the most interesting parts of it ~ but I will give you a very small excerpt to satisfy your curiosity.
Born in a small village in Germany, that doesn’t even exist within this timeline, as the only son of an inventor (my honorable father) and a teacher (my lovely mother) I was a very bright and curious child but always a bit of a loner, which has proven very helpful in my current situation.
My interests were diverse and I couldn’t, with the best of will, decide in which direction to drive my studies. My mother always regretted my lack of social skills though she wanted to make me a teacher and I think my father didn’t want to push me in any direction so he ignored me most of my early years.
Nevertheless I became an inventor like him and my first big invention (H2) is still working properly and is even with me aboard the ARGO right now.
